Para ver informacisn importante en espaqol sobre tu cuenta de<br \/>\nVonage, visita el enlace anterior.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>We&#8217;ve transferred your phone number(s) referenced above to another phone service provider as<br \/>\nrequested.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Here are a few more important details to keep in mind:<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>o\u00a0 Your cancellation is effective February 25, 2011.<br \/>\nYou will no longer be able to make or receive calls using your Vonage service.<br \/>\nThis includes 911 calls; please remember in the event of an emergency,<br \/>\n911 dialing from your Vonage phone will no longer work and you will not be<br \/>\nable to make a 911 call unless you have another form of telephone service.<br \/>\no\u00a0 You&#8217;ll continue to have access to the account details in your online account<br \/>\nfor 90 days from February 25, 2011.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Charges for any overages, payphone calls to Vonage toll free numbers, and out of plan international calls<br \/>\nor any other features and services outside your plan are separately emailed, billed and charged to your<br \/>\npayment method within seven (7) days after cancellation.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Isn&#8217;t this a nice email.\u00a0 Of course, let&#8217;s make this crystal clear.\u00a0\u00a0 I never canceled my Vonage service.\u00a0\u00a0 Let&#8217;s make something else clear.\u00a0 I never authorized a transfer of my phone number to Sprint.<\/p>\n<p>So, I called Vonage again and got another support case opened up.\u00a0\u00a0 The support case number is *****095.\u00a0 This person was going to escalate this to a manager and I would be contacted in 24 to 48 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Well&#8230; I decided to call Vonage again in the evening and basically gave the person both of the ticket numbers and that person was reading off the script.\u00a0\u00a0 I went off on her and ended up with her supervisor.\u00a0 After I made it clear to the supervisor on what was going on, the supervisor told me that the &#8220;off line group&#8221; (or something like that) had to do research on this issue and that I would hear something back in 3-5 business days.<\/p>\n<p>3-5 business days?\u00a0 Are they serious?\u00a0\u00a0 I could not have my home phone number for at least 8 days.\u00a0\u00a0 Really.\u00a0\u00a0 8 days.<\/p>\n<p>The email talks about charging my card for any outstanding charges.\u00a0 So, tomorrow, I am off to the bank (or call them) and authorize them to deny any Vonage payment attempts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Recieved this email on Friday.
